Adidas Trimm-Trab “Red and Blue”

Although 2014 is right around the corner, size? isn’t quite finished dropping exclusives. Receiving short notice on their next big drop, we get a look at the recently released adidas Trimm-Trab “Red and Blue” set. Bringing back the silhouette in two colorways as an ode to the mid ’70s, the uppers go for classic colorblocking with monochromes handling things up top, broken up by well-placed sections of white. Off-white midsoles further lend themselves to the vintage look, completing the classic kick’s aesthetic. 

Nike Roshe Run FB “Leopard” –

Roshe Run heads have been waiting a long time for this one: the Nike Roshe Run FB "Leopard" is releasing in the US this Saturday Nikestore. This particular pair is right up there with the “Yeezy” looking pair as toughest to track down Nike Roshe releases. The fact that they’re at last coming to the states, along with the constant re-issues of older coveted Roshe styles, backs up the sneakers’ status an an every man’s design that’s kind of trying to swerve around the hype. This New Balance MRT580SM is the premium product of the collaborative forces of mita sneakers, SBTG and New Balance. Right off the bat, SBTG’s signature vine and tiger stripe camo stands out on the ankle collar and tongue, surrounding by black nubuck and electric green accents. Look for the collaborative 580 to drop at select New Balance retailers in January.

Kanye West Already Designed 20 Shoes with adidas

A common thread among all of the recent Yeezus Tour stop interviews is Kanye West‘s desire to create and produce more. Footwear has been the catalyst for such conversations, citing the lack of opportunity to create and release more product with Nike and Louis Vuitton following the popularity of his collaborative launches. Now at adidas, it appears that change is on the horizon. While taking to The Morning Riot in Chicago, West confirmed the September launch date for his collection and even spoke on the abundant design progress so far:
“I just got back from Germany. It was one of the greatest creative days of my life. We designed the entire women’s collection, we designed the entire men’s collection, and we designed 20 shoes. We’re coming in September and it’s about to be a paradigm shift.”
Whether or not 20 different Kanye West x adidas designs will launch in the first rollout is unknown at this time, but it certainly seems a possibility. West has made it very clear that he wants to produce more. In addition, distribution already appears to be more widespread than the Yeezy- an issue he expressed his displeasure on in regard to leverage put on shops to buy in additional product when booking the Air Yeezy.
