Packer Shoes x ASICS Gel Kayano Trainer Preview
When it comes to Packer Shoes, all roads lead to Teaneck. Although the sneaker shop’s original roots from their establishment in 1907 were in New York, the staple has been in Teaneck, NJ since 2004. Coming off of a strong year in 2013, Packer Shoes will look to continue their momentum over this calendar of their 10-year anniversary at the location with another wide run of collaborations. The special edition joint project, the Packer Shoes x ASICS Gel Kayano Trainer, pays homage to those who make the effort to travel to their NJ store from all over the world. Teased from behind with a multicolored design, these Packer Shoes ASICS feature brown, green, yellow, and orange pieces.

Nike LeBron 11 “Hornets”
Another new colorway of the LeBron 11
surfaces, featuring a unique graphic on the upper that may allude to
this year’s “Summit Lake Hornets” release. While nothing’s been
confirmed just yet, it’s clear that the hexagonal pattern has a visual
connection to the honeycombs that hornets construct. In addition, the
dark purple/blue colorway is just like the last “Hornets” release on the
LeBron 9 (there was no LeBron X “Hornets” release). We’ll keep you
updated on the backstory on this exciting new colorway.
Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Red Python” Customs
The number of snakeskin equipped Air Force 1s out there definitely soared this year thanks to NIKEiD’s limited option of that sort for this silhouette. Topping those efforts though is this genuine python pair from the likes of The Shoe Surgeon, which opts for the ever popular all red setup on the colors and features a striking set of textures thanks to the reptilian pieces used. Continue reading to see more on this Nike Air Force 1 Mid pair made exclusively for FourTwoFour on Fairfax and get in touch with The Shoe Surgeon if you feel like you need a pair like this.
Nike WMNS Roshe Run – Diffused Jade – Atomic Orange
As the return of the coveted ‘Calypso’ edition proved, sneakerheads are especially keen on Nike Roshe Run colorways featuring teal colors. This one will do well in that same vein, a new WMNS Roshe Run set to drop next month as what looks like it will be the first use of the new Diffused Jade shade. That soft green is either itself an iridescent color or more likely has had some of the Atomic Orange that accents the upper mixed in to a unique take on the ‘original mesh’ upper. Check out some more photos below to see the effect, then pre-order yours ahead of next month’s delivery from Titolo.
New Balance 574 “Varsity” Pack
Good things seem to come in twos, as evidenced by the unveiling of the New Balance 574 “Varsity” Pack. Doing right by the classic silhouette, NB opts for suede on the major panels, with mesh showing up on the spaces in between. In turn, each offering bears a single shade for an overall monochromatic upper. For the sake of contrast, white appears on the laces and midsole, with black used as a secondary hue to tie everything together. This “Varsity” pack of New Balance 574s is available now from select stockists.
Nike Roshe Run GS “Triangles”
With all the pairs released over the past two years, the number of Nike Roshe Runs in Gym Red is surprisingly small. The brick red color appeared as an accent shade on one of the first Roshe Run Trail colorways and is currently offered as one of the more rarely utilized colors on NIKEiD. Gym Red Roshes stay under the radar even with this upcoming release, because this particular pair with a tonal triangle treatment vaguely reminiscent of the WMNS ‘Snow’ designs is only available in grade school sizes. Click in to get a look at these and if you decide they’d make a great gift for the little sneakerheads in your life, pre-order a pair ahead of next month’s delivery from Titolo.
