It looks like the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” retro will arrive on one of the busier days of the year in terms of sneaker releases. That would be May 25th, a day that will see restocks of the Air Jordan III ’88 and the Air Jordan IV “Thunder”, along with the retail debut of two separate LeBron styles and a brand new Kobe. Remember the alternate “Black Bottom” version of the Air Jordan IX “Photo Blue” that was produced last year as a factory mistake? It looks like that pair will be trotted out for a retail release after all. The move is sort of reminiscent of the “Banned” Air Jordan 1 fiasco, wherein a b-grade labeled sneaker that would otherwise just be destroyed is let loose upon the masses. Also exciting is the price-point: the Air Jordan IX “Black Bottom” will hit for just $130. Nike Barkley Posite Max fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming months, with Nike Sportswear confirmed four colorways to release in the Summer/Fall months starting with the “Phoenix Suns” Croc joints this month. Following that release in June 2013 is the Metallic Silver/Gamma Bluecolorway, which goes speckle-crazy on the black upper as well as the Max Air unit for a bit of that “Area 72″ look. We’ll have a firm release date for you soon, but be advised that these are a June 2013 release, but are available early right now from id4shoes on eBay.

It seems like no sneaker is safe from the random re-stocking: that massively coveted Air Jordan III ’88 retro will be restocked on Saturday, May 25th at 8AM EST. The upcoming restock is the latest in a string of random arrivals that have brought back some of the most sought after styles, a topic we touched on in our “What Do You Think?” series just a couple of weeks back. In fact, the Nikestore re-stockalypse that went down back then combined with this upcoming one marks two more times that the Air Jordan III ’88 with the “Nike Air” branding will be back around. Keep in mind that reported retailers so far include Foot Locker and Footaction, both of whom will be releasing the Air Jordan III ’88 Retro restock on Saturday, May 25th at 8AM EST. Apologies to the Air Jordan V, but 2013 might be stolen away by the Air Jordan IV thanks to the big-ticket Retro releases planned for the year. Aside from the “Fire Red Nubuck” that has been causing a stir, this “Green Glow” version has been getting the attention of our readers due to the Grey-based colorway and Glow-in-the-dark outsole. Nike Air Foamposite One “Sport Royal”
Penny Hardaway’s 1997 OG ‘Dark Neon Royal’ Nike Air Foamposite One is a truly iconic colorway. So this new style pictured above has some huge shoes to fill, but it’s off to a good start. The ‘Sport Royal’ Foamposite One steps outside the classic formula but stops short of going for a graphic treatment, utilizing a Wolf Grey eyestay/tongue/lining setup that really draws your eye to the namesake blue upper. Air Jordan III “Fire Red” – Release Date
Just a few days after the first piece of Air Jordan III ‘Fire Red’ news since the 2013 retro announcement back in December, today we have the most important detail. Rounding out the set of original 1988 Jordan 3 colorways began with the 2011 23rd anniversary drops is the ‘Fire Red’ III coming up for an August 3rd release date. With a full size run from infant to mens, this figures to be one of the hottest commodities on this year’s back to school sneaker list. The only photo seen so far depicting this year’s version remains the one we showed you Thursday, so there’s a lot to come and we will keep you posted on the 2013 ‘Fire Red’ Jordan 3 Retro.
